TIGER RUSH ONLINE SLOT REVIEW
Progressive Jackpot: No
Tiger Rush is a low-key big cat-themed online slot from Thunderkick that has some very clever features. Tiger Rush is a five-reel slot that features three rows and 10 fixed paylines in the base game. There’s also a misty forest backdrop to those reels that are encased in a green, vine-like frame.
Tiger Rush is obviously based on the feral feline of the plains — the tiger — and is set in a tropical rainforest. The graphics are quite plain but the symbols on the reels more than make up for it with brightly colored stones that are wrapped in leaves. You’ll also see a couple of different flowers. The one with the bird on it is the highest value symbol giving you 15 times your stake for five across a payline.
The Thunderkick title also features a standard 5×3 layout and benefits from 10 paylines in the base game and 25 paylines in the Free Spins feature. Paylines pay both ways, so you can form winning combinations from the leftmost reel and vice versa, with three of a kind being the minimum for landing payouts.
Like in most other Thunderkick products, the betting range goes from £0.20 to £100 per single spin. Also, the control panel is fairly basic and spinners will find their way around very easily. If you want to sit back and enjoy the show, activate up to 100 automatic spins in Autoplay.
There is the sticky stacked Wild that comes with free re-spins and the Free Spins feature, but the freebies are not easily initiated, so you need to wait for a while before you take advantage of boosted paylines that pay both ways. As for the visuals, Tiger Rush boasts of simple, yet crisp graphics and a fitting soundtrack.
Tiger Rush is an appealing slot with some extraordinary graphics and smooth gameplay. The design may seem basic but there’s plenty going on here once you’ve pressed the “Spin” button and some big wins available during the free spins. There’s an RTP of 96.30%.
The two higher value symbols are pictures of birds and flowers. The lower values are represented by jewels of various colors – yellow, green, red, blue and purple – etched with assorted plant life. The tiger is of course, wild, and it will substitute for all others to help form winning combos except for the Tiger Rush scatter symbol. There’s also a feature associated with the tiger which is explained below.
The wild tiger appears only on reels two, three and four but whenever it lands it will cover the whole of that reel. It will also award one free spin with that wild reel frozen in place.
The Tiger Rush scatter symbol appears only on reels one and five and the free spins are initiated by landing two of these scatters or one scatter plus an adjacent wild symbol. Each individual triggering combo can earn five spins that means there are twenty available for the luckier players.
The reels change to a 3, 5, 5, 5, 3 structure with an increased number of paylines – twenty-five. The Tiger Wild is active during the free spins and wins can be formed from right to left as well as left to right.
