Kings of Chicago Slot Machine: rules and general information

  • Kings of Chicago - Joker Card
  • Kings of Chicago comes with an interesting twist to the classic slot machine and adds elements of poker into the mix. It is the first game from Net Entertainment to blend these two casino games in such a way and there are quite a few changes to consider. First off, the slot machine is played with a deck of 52 cards, plus the joker, which are shuffled after every deal. Instead of having spinning reels, the cards are dealt in a 5x3 formation and the goal is to get winning combinations on the five lines. These don’t have to be on adjacent locations and will pay if a poker hand of three of a kind or higher is formed from five cards from each line. To make it even more exciting, some of the cards can randomly appear with a scatter label on them and these will generate prizes even if they are not part of combinations. Furthermore, three or more cards with scatter labels will award free deals where all the wins are multiplied by two. The joker card is basically the wild symbol of the slot and it can substitute for all cards while also doubling the wins for the completed bet lines. Set pays are allocated for the different hands players can get and the highest one is of course a natural royal flush. It is followed by five of a kind with a joker, a royal flush obtained with a joker, a straight flush, four of a kind, full house, flush, straight and three of a kind. The actual values of the cards don’t really matter for most of these pays since they are all grouped in the same category. The theme is based on the gangsters from the prohibition era in the 1930s and the face cards show different characters from this time.
